Inspired by central and coastal Australia and drawing from local artwork, seascapes and mountains, La La Legs legging range celebrates the lively colours and moods of Australia.
Designed in Melbourne and Torquay, printed in Sydney on Australian fabric, sewn in Noble Park and packaged and sold from Gardenvale, La La Legs is an entirely owned and made Australian product.
Australian colours are unique. Oscillating between the misty hues of the Blue Mountains or the dusky bush and the bright glaring light reflected off snow peaks or ocean waves, colour plays a big part in Australian landscapes and lifestyles. Each pair of La La Legs has been inspired by Australian flora or fauna, geography or architecture, which is hinted at in the name of each design.
Alpine Fresh is inspired by Australia’s Victorian ski areas; Mt Buller and Mt Hotham. The green of the snow gums, the white of the peaks, the teal blue sky and the yellow flecks of sunlight all pay homage to these magnificent mountains.
Dream Circles capture the colours of Australia’s red centre from The Olgas to Uluru, McDonnell ranges to King’s Canyon and all the rusty red desert in between pockmarked by gum trees and waterholes.
Byron Bliss celebrates Australia’s favourite chilled beach area, Byron Bay. The denim blue background, overlaid with swirls of white reflect the ocean, the waves, the clear skies, white sands and feeling of bliss that washes over you in this area.
