La La Legs - necessity breeds invention
It takes 101 days to create the perfect Australian leggings
Sally Parrott developed La La Legs when she couldn’t find the colours, patterns or feel she wanted in her own backyard. “There are lots of bad leggings out there, cheaply made offshore that either look terrible on the leg or feel bad,” Parrott claims. “If you live in leggings like I do then you want them to feel good and look good,” she adds.
So Sally set about road testing hundreds (well 101) leggings and blogged about the experience in her challenge,“101 Days of leggings” (see the results in the post of that name). Along the way she discovered the colours that matched easily, the patterns that flattered the most and the fabric that felt good.
The name La La Legs stems from how light and lively you feel when you wear La La Legs leggings. Slip on a pair and suddenly you have the freedom to kick up your legs (with decorum) stride out, wear shorts or mini’s, sit cross legged in parks, and feel a little joie de vivre!
